Located in beautiful Blanco, Texas is a small, yet versatile State Park that provides the perfect backdrop for stunning photos year round. The main attraction of the park is the Blanco river, which flows through the center of the park. Lined with stately Cypress trees that are green in the summer and turn shades of gold and amber in the fall, the river provides a sparkly backdrop for any type of photo session. Gentle, easy to navigate trails lead you through wooded areas where you may spot some wildlife.


Open fields, multiple dams and giant trees with exposed, intricate roots offer a diverse selection of variety for your session. Kids will stay engaged looking for birds, ducks, squirrels, deer, acorns, bugs and sticks. Throwing rocks in the river and climbing over tree roots are a favorite activity for many kids! Bringing a blanket for a picnic would be another fun idea. Keeping a laid back and stress free approach is easy to do here. When kids are free to explore and have fun, it makes the session feel like a playful outing!


There is a small fee to enter (kids under 12 are free!), but it's completely worth it with all the park has to offer for your photo session!
