When this sweet boy's Mom came to me with the idea for a rib smash instead of a cake smash, I was beyond excited to bring her vision to life. The details were perfect. From the overalls and hat to the vintage wooden high chair and the galvanized tub, everything came together perfectly to create a unique first birthday session!

Even the cows were definitely ready for their closeup!

The birthday boy worked up an appetite wrangling cows and being cute, so it was time for the ribs! He did not disappoint when it came time to dig in. The curious cows in the background, the vintage wooden high chair and the red and white checkered paper really added to the fun scene!  A  Texas boy in a cowboy hat wearing overalls is unmatched cuteness!

The fun conclusion of this session was the tub bath for cleanup. Mom and Dad brought along an ice chest they had filled with water to pour in the tub. Thankfully since it's so hot in the Texas Hill Country, the water was nice and warm for the birthday boy to splash around it. The cows did not disappoint for this part of the session either! What a fun end to a memorable 1st birthday celebration!
