Cap and Gown Sessions

calling all 2026 kinder grads! if you're looking for a joyful and entertaining way to commemorate this special time, this session is for you. i provide the cap, gown and tassel so all you have to do is show up, ready to have fun!
If you don't know me, I am a Mom of kids with a large age gap. One has graduated from high school, one is currently in high school and the last is in elementary. I truly understand how fast the years fly by. I want parents to have these keepsakes to cherish as their kids grow up. This is why these sessions are a longer format at a mini session price.
What's included
30 minute session with 25 images
These 30 minute sessions are all about having fun and celebrating this special milestone. They are playful, captivating and always filled with laughter! I will have glitter and confetti on hand and a few other props to use. Feel free to bring props of your choosing. Books, sunglasses or anything with special meaning can be brought to your session. You'll receive a gallery of 25 hand edited images.

Sessions will take place in April and early May. Please reach out if none of the dates on the booking calendar work for you and I will do my best to accommodate your schedule.
We'll start the session at the elementary school and if you choose, we can head to the football field about halfway through. Throwing glitter/confetti takes place at the school. Running around the field barefoot and throwing the cap in the air is the highlight of these sessions for the kids! Splitting the session between two locations allows for a short break, followed by a fun change of scenery that the kids are so excited about. If you're worried your child won't make it the full 30 minutes or won't have fun, don't. I can assure you they will have a blast!
Session fee: $150
here's what to expect
After the session, your hand edited, high resolution images will be returned to you within 2 weeks via an online gallery. You can download the images, order prints and products (or print on your own!) and share with your family and friends.
FAQ
What should my child wear to the session?
For girls, I recommend soft neutrals or small, dainty patterns. Dresses are always a fantastic option.
For boys, a neutral, plain t-shirt, collar or button down shirt and shorts or pants work great. Avoid bright or neon colors.
Kids' personalities shine when they're comfortable, so ensuring they wear something they love is important!
Also keep in mind the cap may flatten their hair so simple hairstyles work best!
Can we bring our own cap and gown?
Of course! I sanitize/wash the cap and gown between each use, but if you're more comfortable using your own, there a many affordable options on Amazon!
Can we take photos with a friend?
Yes! If you want to take photos with a friend or family member, please reach out before booking. We may need to add a little extra time to the session so we can ensure we have ample light for individual photos as well as friend photos! Each participant will have to pay the session fee and will receive their own gallery.
