Because getting everyone together is worth remembering.

There's something incredibly special about having multiple generations gathered together in one place. These moments can feel ordinary when you're living them, but they're not. And they certainly aren't guaranteed.

I know that getting a big family in front of a camera can sound...overwhelming.

That's where my patience comes in.

I'm not expecting everyone to stand perfectly still, smile at the camera and behave themselves for a hour. In fact, I'd much rather see your family as they actually are. The kids can wiggle. Grandma can take a break. Cousins can run off. We can laugh, regroup and move on.

Nothing has to be forced.

I'll guide you as you need it, but also leave room for natural moments to unfold. My goal is to take away the pressure...not add to it!

I understand extended family sessions come with a lot of moving pieces. My job is to keep things easy, relaxed and moving so you can stop worrying about getting the "perfect" photo and just enjoy being together. Years from now when the little ones aren't so little and another generation has joined the family, these photos will become a way to remember who was there, how it felt and how much love existed in that place and time.

You bring the crew. I'll bring the patience.

FAQ

How many photos will we receive and how long does it take to get them?

I understand how excited you are to see your finished images. I hand edit every photo to ensure your images look their best. Your curated gallery will include 70+ images and will be returned to you within 2 weeks.

Print rights are included, or you can order prints and products right from your gallery.

What location do you suggest?

Depending on what city your session will take place, I have a variety of diverse location suggestions. We will discuss what you want out of your session and what scenery you prefer, taking into consideration the time of year, to find the location that best fits your family.

If you're traveling in from out of town or state, I have lots of options for you to choose from!

What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?

You don't need to know what to do- that's my job. I'll guide you with easy direction and natural movement, focusing on connection. You can expect a mix of guided moments and candid in-between shots. I don't expect your kids to be perfectly behaved. I always match the kids' energy and they usually warm up to me pretty quickly. There is never a rushed aspect...we'll take breaks if we need to. Sometimes the most cherished photos come from the in between moments. I want your photos to feel authentic and relaxed!

What should we wear?

The goal is to look coordinated, not matching. Start with a color palette of 2-3 complementary tones (neutrals, earth tones and muted colors photograph well) and build everyone's outfits around that.

Flowy dresses, layers and subtle textures add movement and dimension. Avoid neon colors, logos or busy patterns. It is important to choose pieces that you feel confident and comfortable in.

I'm always happy to help with outfit planning, whether that's reviewing options, making suggestions or helping you pull everything together so it feels cohesive.

You'll receive a session prep guide that offers styling options after you book your session.

What does a finished gallery look like?

Your curated gallery will include a mix of images that tell the story of your family, from classic portraits to the candid moments that happen naturally.

You'll see everyone looking at the camera, but also the laughter, the cuddles, interactions, plus individual portraits of the kids, and the often left out photos of the parents. I want your gallery to feel varied and authentic.
