The location you choose for your session is important. It's crucial for you and your family feel comfortable and relaxed. I love scenic locations that aren't usually crowded so everyone can have room to stretch out, explore and capture stunning memories. Here are a few location suggestions for you to look over.
Please let me know if you have any questions!

Blanco State Park
One of my favorite locations is the beautiful state park located in the middle of town. The Blanco river winds through the center of the park. Lined with stately Cypress trees that are green in the summer and turn shades of gold and amber in the fall, the river provides a sparkly backdrop for any type of photo session. Gentle, easy to navigate trails lead you through wooded areas where you may spot some wildlife. While there is a small entrance fee, the quiet calm of the park and versatile backdrops more than make up for it! This location is stunning no matter what season your session occurs in!
River Road
Just down the road from Blanco State Park is an area called "The Low Waters". The same beautiful Cypress trees line the river, plus there is a dam and far reaching views. Unlike Blanco State Park, this spot is totally free but has a similar vibe!
Ranger Park
This is a small park but offers plenty of variety for your session. Large trees, a wet weather creek and walkable terrain ensure great variety for your session. There is also a deck/lake near the park that offers beautiful backdrops.
A couple more
Another small yet multifaceted location is Bindseil Park located right off the square. A Pergola, lovely landscaping, mammoth oak trees, and a winding sidewalk make this spot a wonderful location for photos.

Bindseil Park

Right across the street from Bindseil Park is the Courthouse. A rock exterior, arched doors and beautiful windows are just a few attributes of this location. It's not a stand alone location, but a perfect addition to a session at Bindseil Park.

The Courthouse

I sincerely hope I provided sufficient choices local to Blanco. If you're willing to travel, there are some great locations nearby that I would be happy to share as well.
